‘Stand by Him’ Environmental Poster Design
Client: Orangutan Foundation
The design was inspired by an orangutan trying to fight off excavator that’s destroying his home in Indonesia and Ben E. King’s song， “Stand by Me”. The monochromatic color scheme provides a strong sense of visual cohesion. Perspective leads to the focal point (bulldozer), like the viewer standing behind the orangutan and fighting against deforestation together. Using photo-imaging to make it realistic and easier to lead the viewer into the poster. The poster design aims to raise awareness of consumers and governments on palm oil plantations issue which causing deforestation.
