This project is based on Frank's head from the 2014 movie, with a little twist so it'll fit into the characteristics that were needed for the main character of a student short film.
Some sketches defined the main features that need to be outlined like the curly hair, prominent nose, eye bags and a little chin.
Those important features were made with paper and cardboard before covering the head with a type of plaster and paint.
The plaster had to be sanded down as much as possible to have a smooth canvas for the first layer of paint
Then the details of the face were added to highlight the features even more
