This project was a coordinated effort with the Tusubila Crafts group in Uganda and the Uganda Alliance at Iowa State University. The Tusubila crafts group is an organization in Uganda that helps provide stability and jobs for women in Uganda through their skills in basket weaving. The design problem we needed to solve was to create a mobile pop-up shop for the Uganda Alliance to sell product created by the Tusubila crafts group. It needed to be mobile and easy to store, which is my design included modular slated design with a cart that can be stored underneath the table.
