Shop Local started as a personal project. As stores were reopening after being closed for 3 months, I wanted to design a poster to support and celebrate small businesses.

Little did I know, a popular social account on Instagram reposted my work where it was shared and reposted over 10,000 times.

I received a message from a printer shop in London that wanted to print my poster the day after its initial release.

What started out small became an amazing collaborative effort. My friends and I continue to give out posters to small businesses to this day.

I designed this for the local businesses who set up delivery service for the first time at the brink of the pandemic. This is for Black-owned businesses. This is for the local shops of your community.
