Mt. Rainier Scenery
Social media have different banners for a person profile. I decided to create a banner as one of my project to described who I am as a person. I love scenery in nature and man made landscape views. After thinking, I decided to design Mt. Rainier since I always look at it and remember how beautiful it is to climb at the base of the mountain.
Rough draft of the visual banner after reviewing some mountain rainier images to get ideas from.
The first step was designing the mountains around Mountain Rainier. The second step was designing the background. It was a struggle tying to make sunset colors without pushing the bright colors behind the mountains.
The next step was creating mount rainier then make the mountain to be affect by the sunset and night sky.
After Mt. Rainier was completed, I moved on to creating trees and manipulate the sizes and colors. After they were complete I mixed them around the landscape to create the forest. I carefully made sure I didn't over populate the banner with tons of trees.
Finally step was to add the stars by using the brush tool. I used a youtube video for reference on how to create a star brush and make my own version. This became the finalized banner for my personal social media.
